Hello all,

My school has just upgraded to Ubuntu 9.04. With the newer version,
we are now unable to print the canvases in the newer KTurtle version,
something that my students were really upset about. They wanted to be
able to show their creations with the program. Is there any way for
us to save the canvas? We already have the code saved. Thank you so
much.

Hello,

Thanks for using KTurtle.

I can unfortunately confirm that printing the canvas doesn't work yet in KTurtle.

Starting with the KTurtle version shipped with KDE 4.2 (which should be in Ubuntu 9.04), we do have the possibility to export the canvas to a PNG file. This PNG file could then be opened in an image viewer, and printerd from there. Perhaps you could use this workaround to print the contents of the canvas.

I'll look into adding this as a feature in a furture KTurtle version as it shouldn't be that difficult.

Regards,

Niels
