Hi Pavitran and all,

thanks you very much and I am very delighted to join this group.

I started using localize. I made some translations. How can I commit them to the trunk. Do I have to send it to the team coordinator? I have also applied for an SVN account, but it needs a recommendation from the team leader/senior member.

Apart..., do we have a "dictionary" for PC software translation, i.e. commonly agreed words for the frequently encountered words, exactly similar to the work of FUEL. I agree that we can used that list of words already. I see a bit of inconsistent translation in KDE, perhaps due to different people using different words. Instead of contributing my own set of PC-telugu-accent, I would like to use any existing list.

If such a list does not exists, then I am interested in first preparing such a list for KDE.

Your opinions are most welcome...

Regards,
Kodanda

Thank you kodanda ram for joining KDE telugu and willing to translate for KDE.

The current stats for KDesktop remains at 5 % . We are all willing to
bring out a release with special focus on educational software .

Simple way to get started is take a po file from trunk [1] and start
translating it with any text editor . you can also use KDE's own
lokalize[2] after you get a hang of translation . If you have any
doubts please feel free to ask .

After you translate kindly submit here for a review .

Hi Ram,

Well, I will try to recommend your name for the svn account.
Or you can send to me or pavithran to check-in those you have done.
Use the FUEL list, We had a glossary list created by pavithran. I
think its lost.
Anyway please correct the inconsistencies and use the FUEL as the baseline.

Thanks,
Vijay
