I'd like to get a mentor for GSoC for
http://community.kde.org/GSoC/2012/Ideas#Project:_Dashboard_enhancements
:)

It mentioned either Aleix or Milian so I'd love to hear a reply from either.

Well-versed in C++ with Qt and am functional with KDE technologies.
I have a few repositories up at https://github.com/jalcine and manage
a few projects as detailed at https://launchpad.net/~jackyalcine.

Cheers!

Hi all,

I'd require the same...for the similar project...but i would like to work on my ideas...which I have already sent in the mailing list.

Jacky:Lets help each other, maybe by testing each other's codes.

Cheers,

This is not how GSOC works. Rather, you can start working *now* on it and
showing that you are proficient enough *and* able to work with the tools and
community.

Then eventually you'll have to write an official proposal for the GSOC slot.
See e.g.:

http://google-melange.appspot.com/gsoc/homepage/google/gsoc2012
http://teom.wordpress.com/2012/03/01/how-to-write-a-kick-ass-proposal-for-
google-summer-of-code/

Eventually the mentors decide whom choose, depending largely also on how many
slots are available to which team.

bye

Sorry for that abrupt announcement, then.
I'll get to it.
