Hi everyone,

To those of you who are in the process of signing a lease, did any of your landlords require you to provide a financial statement every quarter to them?  It seems my potential landlord wants this and I think it is unreasonable, as long as I am providing a guarantee that the rent will be paid on time.

Hi Ayesha- my current lease draft has a clause that the landlord can look into my books/accounting. I plan to have that clause removed. I agree that your landlord is making an unreasonable request.

I'm with Krishnan. Would not agree. Have given a personal guarantee. Did fill up a form with my financial numbers in the first stage when we were negotiating the lease.

Hi all,
I am trying to wrap my head around renovation expenses and I think both contractors that I asked for quotes are asking for way too much ($15K +)IMHO. Just for fun, I have attached before and after drawings... Do these numbers sound normal or a bit on the high side?
Thanks
Krishnan
