How is summer treating you. I hope you all are closer to your targets.

 

Please share your recent experiences.

 

I just completed my workbooks..... signed my lease (most scary part).....the buildup has started.

 

Did anyone get done with their in-center training?

 

I would like to know if any of you have applied for a loan yet.....

Hi ya'll,

Mini and Krishnan - you guys are way ahead of the game! Just back from my 2 week trip and am pretty weary! I barely finished the worksheets too and will be finalizing on the site this week. Starting ICT on Saturday, so it will be touch and go to finish before the training. Have a long drive to New Haven next week to lug all the stuff for 2 girls to college and swamped with work with The Future Project launch in October and IndiaFest in November (I am the Co-Director!!!), so how I will open in October is a mystery. Reading your post Krishnan, I may also decide to open in January. Good luck, all.

No, I just bit off more than I could chew! I hate to tell you that I still operate my international trading business with Japan, which means late nights and little sleep. Have told Kumon I will wind it down before I start my center, but it is hard to give up 30 years of wheeling and dealing!!

Waiting to read progress from others. Nandini, did you get the spreadsheet sorted out? Sorry I had only a limited time to help during my trip.

Hi everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well and still pumped up and looking forward
to their opening day :)

I finished my worksheets a couple of weeks ago and did all the on-line
tests. The only remaining tests that I still have to complete are the
two CMS tests. I will do them after I am done with the ICT. Lotfi and
I have finished our first week of ICT. It was really good and we
learned a lot.

My center was approved before the first training but I haven't signed
yet. I am very close to signing though. It will be done very soon. My
landlord is going on a cruise.....again........ and will be back mid
September. So, I need to finish things before he leaves so I have time
to prepare for my November 1st opening.

I am looking forward to going back to Teaneck and meet everyone
again :) Good Luck everyone! and see you soon :)
