Hi everyone,
Can someone please tell me where is the assignment that we have to turn in from the CMS Training module?
I know the 2nd one is the CMS Certification
Quiz (60 questions where you have to get 87% to pass..seems impossible!), but cannot figure out where the 1st one is. Help!
Our trainer Jeremy Boldt is due to visit
us to help my wife with her presentation as she is going to be the keynote speaker at the annual Instructors conference in Mexico in November. I shall pass on all your greetings.

Hi Bala,
They sent it to us in that same folder where you found the CMS2
Certification Quiz - July 2008.doc. It was in a zip file called CMS
Installation and Certification Files.zip (and I hope it's the same
file for Canada as well as USA trainees). The file is called CMS2
Database Exercises - January 2011.pdf
I will send it to you to your gmail address in a minute :)

hi Bala,
It was my pleasure. Sorry for the late reply. I was at my last ICT
session today and got home late.
I did the quiz already but the CMS certification is planned on the
weekend, like you :) I will be happy if I pass. You know that the
passing note is 87%, right? It's a bit high but at least you can
repeat as many times as you want :)

Oh!!! I thought we just got 2 tries to get 87%. I may be wrong here. Going through the quiz right now. It covers everything in the CMS2.

Hope you are right about doing it many times, as many of the questions are downright tricky! I would not count on being able to repeat it because you have to zip it and send to KU and they will check and certify (not immediately like the online tests). So if you score
less than 87%, you may not have enough time to redo the test.
My suggestion is to do the Online CMS2 lessons again (this time actually pay attention, because I didn't the first time!) and keep a printout of the Certiication Quiz to follow along.

Not sure if you sent me email or posted on this. Anyone of us can help you. I am on the tennis court (it's 120 degrees on the court!!), so can only call you in a couple of hours. But, if you ask in this forum there are a lot of smarter folk who can help.

Hi Bala,
Regarding the CMS quiz, my Kumon field agent told me that there has
been cases where candidates repeated up to 8 times.
Also, I sent the files to people that asked for them.

Hey fellas, while we are on CMS2- I cannot save my work!!! For the database exercises, if I quit CMS2 and come back- none of my saved students are there anymore!!! Any ideas??? I save after each step and am really comfortable with the software- so no idea what is going on!

Hi Krishnan,
You have to set the time on your PC to 11/01/2004 and then reset your
database in CMS2. Have you done that? Also check their minimum
requirements for a PC and make sure your PC meets thoserequirements.

Hi Ben- Thanks! Actually, all I had to do after re-setting the computer date was to hit re-start! So- all is well now! BTW, like Bala said- the quiz is ridiculously tricky- I am really hoping that I get more than a second shot if needed!

Phew, finally done- I should have practiced this stuff a few times before. Anyway, following my 36 hrs from hell, the CMS2 assignment is submitted! Now, for the quizzes.....

Wow! What are the odds Bala! Good luck with the ICT! Folks, have all of you been writing times for sets of 10 worksheets? I did not do it for SUT1, but am feeling a little more anal this time around. Also, I know that we record times for all worksheet levels in the center even though the concept of SCT does not apply to a lot of JK work- so are folks recording times for all JK levels too? And all the JK stuff had to be done left-handed, right?

Hi,
Finally.....I submitted the quiz which I did about two weeks ago :)
and the CMS Database assignments. That took me a while to do because
my CMS kept crashing and closing for no reason. I guess, I was doing
something unexpected and stupid :)
Now, I am all done and ready to go to Teaneck.
I might start doing the G book this week :)

You'll are too efficient. I am still doing my ICT in the fourth week. Very good experience, loved it. All my English assignments still pending and of course quizzes too, as well as CMS certification. I think I am going to ask them to change my cycle to next one..:(.it is too much work especially with the job... Bad timing I guess, at work also, we are working weekend on production releases... May not be able to see you all next week.

Oh Man- Nidhi- I wish you can come! I could get my boss to let me work part time for August- that is the only reason I finished. You are amongst the most driven people I know- so, I know I will meet you again at some instructor conference somewhere (Incase you decide that you can't make it to this one).

Breaking news! Big personnel reorganization in KNA starting with the President, Hideki Kusuzawa (Kusu) who will move back to Japan. Mr. Hamanaka from Kumon Asia/Oceania will take over. Effective early October.
