Dear Sir/Madam,
As you are aware, the Embassy in association with Indian Associations, community members as well as Bahraini yoga enthusiasts has been celebrating International Day of Yoga (IDY) every year since 2015.
2. Continuing with the tradition, this year, the Embassy will be celebrating the 9th IDY 2023 main event with the support of Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities (BACA), Kingdom of Bahrain on 21 June, 2023 from 6:45 pm – 7:45 pm at UNESCO world Heritage site, Qalat Al Bahrain Fort, Karbabad. The event will include a brief Yoga session under the theme “Yoga For Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”.
3. As always, to make International Day of Yoga 2023 a great success, we are expecting whole hearted co-operation from Indian community in Bahrain, especially from the community organizations and associations.
4. You are requested to register at https://forms.gle/SRVenBJT33oFRr9r9 to participate for the main event. You may also kindly disseminate the above link alongwith the message to the members of your Association and invite them to participate in this flagship event.
5. Yoga outfit or any comfortable loose-fitting clothes are recommended. The participant may please bring their own yoga mat.
Looking forward to your participation for the grand event of IDY 2023. It is requested that the participants may please reach the venue by 6.30 PM.
