Kindly note below email and be guided by same for nominating your proxies for the election of International Officers and Directors to the 2014-15 TMI Board of Directors due on 23rd August, 2014.

members are attending the International Convention in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia advising their contact tel nos. as well as email details.

As per below message from our LGM, almost
95% of the clubs (list of clubs is given below) have not yet assigned their
proxies for the election of the international officers and directors to the
2014-2015 Board of Directors due on 23rd August 2014 in Kuala
Lumpur, Malaysia.
The email requests our clubs' Presidents
and Secretaries, who are the ones eligible for this voting, to assign their
votes. The steps to accomplish this are given in the email below and are summarized
here:
1.
Go to www.toastmasters.org/clubcentral,
login, choose the club(s) you are assigning proxies for
2.
Click on Assign/Delegate International
Election Club Proxy
3.
Assign your club votes to
either of the following:
- A delegate from your club who is attending the Annual Business
Meeting.
- The 2014-2015 district governor to act as the club's proxy.
- An active member from another club to act as your club's proxy.
The rest will be taken care by
the assignee.
Please cascade this message at
the earliest to our respected clubs' Presidents and encourage them to perform
this task, which is one of the important roles.

Dear DIVISION Governors & Area Governors,
***(Kindly cascade the info to Club President and Club Secretary
and follow up for the Proxy and list of attendees)***
It’s time for the International Convention which will be held at
Kuala Lumpur from 19th August till 24th August 2014. The
District TRIO will be attending (DG Yasser, LGET Sujit, yours Truly LGM SRK)
along with IPDG Vicky Musthafa.
What’s your plan?
Are your attending?
Is anyone from Your Division / Area / Club attending.
Do you have the List of members attending Int. Convention at KL?
I request the DIVISION
GOVERNORS to compile the list of those who are attending Int. Conv. @ KL and
send the List to me at the earliest so that we know our strength at KL. Need the list by 07/08/2014.
One more important aspect of this Convention is election of
International officers. The Club President and the Club secretary might
have already received the email from TI to assign proxy.
To assign the proxy, You can Assign the Votes as follows. . (More info. will be sent by TM Noor – Dist. PR)
Having said that, We prefer that you assign the Proxy to District Governor and at the same
time you have the option to assign the VOTE to
your choice of Candidate as well.
Note that, for the Post of Vice President, we have candidate from District 20, DTM George Thomas. I request that you assign
your Vote for the
post of Vice President to DTM George Thomas and then assign your PROXY to
District Governor Yasser Sulaiman.
Why District Governor : (my opinion)
It will be easy for one person to collect the Proxy during
International Convention. If you assign to more people, they have to stand in
Queue and go thru the process of collecting proxy one by one. We can SAVE
TIME HERE. But pls note…. It’s Your Choice… It’s your right to Vote…
