2 CONFIRMED TOURNAMENTS - SAME DAY
These two formats normally have lightning quick rounds, so we will easily be able to run both in one day.
======================================== ==============

Star Wars Tournament – 100 Dynamic Duo

There will be a DCI sanctioned tournament on Saturday August 1st, 2009 at 31st Century in Olathe. 31st Century is in the SW corner of the intersection of 151st Street and Murlen. Phone # is (913)397-7706.

This tournament will follow all normal rules for Dynamic Duo. Using only two characters, each player builds a squad totaling exactly 100 points. Normal faction rules apply. Reinforcements and Reserves abilities are ignored. Each phase, players activate 1 character instead of two. Boba Fett, Bounty Hunter and General Obi-Wan Kenobi are not allowed in this format. Gambit is in effect for Dynamic Duo.

We will begin Setup and Registration at 6:15 and the first round at 6:30. Rounds will last 45 minutes.

Maps will be determined according to the DCI-rules. This means each player must bring their own DCI-legal map, and must use this map in each round. If a player does not bring a map, and wins map choice, he must choose his opponents map.

======================================== ==================

Star Wars Tournament – 200 Tile Wars

This 200 point tournament will follow all normal rules for Tile Wars. This tournament will begin immediately after Dynamic Duo is completed. Rounds will last 45 minutes.

Both players use 1 tile (5 squares x 7 squares), places his team on that tile and fights to destroy the entire squad of his opponent. No override or Diplomat special abilities are allowed. If for some reason neither team is completely defeated after 45 minutes, it will result in a draw, regardless of points.
