to KC Star Wars Minis
I finally got around to giving this a serious go and I have to say I like it.

I played in tournament this weekend after 1 only practice game.

I purchased the 2012 Core and 1 B-Wing Expansion (which was my tournament fee).

I just played Luke (X-Wing), Biggs (X-Wing), and Ibtisam (B-Wing) with a few droids and modifications cards. One of the other players let me borrow an X-Wing as the store was out.

I went 1-2, getting more competitive with each game until I won the last one.

I think it says a lot that you can play competitively with pieces from the original 2012 core set.

Slave I / Boba & IG-2000 won the overall tournament I believe (I lost to it in the first round before I know what I was doing).

I'm now in on this game with plans to play regularly and in tournaments
I think I'll stick with just playing the Rebels/Resistance vs. buying everything.

I think it is a fun game to play and you get in at less than $50.

If anyone is playing in KC, I might see you there now and then just so I can play in other local meta. I understand Topeka, Lawrence, McPherson, and Wichita all have active local groups. Manhattan has at least 12+ regulars.

Of course I can always bring my old WotC minis along and play a pickup game there too.
