I've looked at it.  Might be able to try it out next Monday  night.   But after spending all the money in SW minis, Monsterpocalypse, Wings of War, Heroclix and other games that didn't stick around long enough, I am reluctant to drop more money on mini  games without a hugh network of players to support it. 

But the minis look amazing!  It is tempting...

From what I've heard, it is based heavily on the Wings of War game, but different enough that it won't get them sued since I believe they've given up the Wings of War license.

But that's all hearsay.

I would really like to try it out, but I think I'm going to have to give it a pass.  Just too much money already tied up in way too many games and hobbies and no time to really play any of them.

I'm tired of spending money to stay up on my collections, but keeping them in a box collecting dust.

So, I think I'll stay out of this game and if I get to jonesing for some Star Wars spaciness I'll pull out my West End Games Star Warriors game or my large collection of WotC Starship Battles and find some good space combat rules to go with it...like Silent Death or something.

I would love to hear what people think of the X-Wing game once they give it a shot though.

It is out.   Played a little last night.  I think it has potential.

People are still paying high prices for the Starship Battles miniatures - which SUCKED.
 
I have a feeling this one will stick around for a while...
 
Got any extra Monsterpocalypse buildings? ;)

PS: HeroClix is still around and still being played regularly - and the Star Trek Tactics game is great!
