Easter 7 - Year B

making meaning known to others

is quite a bother

eventually I must speak on behalf of those

who don’t quite know

and in this disappointing moment

more is lost than won

an intermediary can guard but not grow

and meaning goes

demanding structure determine personnel

masks need and gift

claiming we reap more than we sow

we say more than we know

soon it comes down to me us and them

elect and condemned
