Job Title: Data Architect (P&C Insurance)

Location: Basking Ridge, NJ (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract / Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Data Architect with mandatory Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance experience. The candidate must have strong hands-on expertise in SQL Server, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Fabric and be capable of designing scalable, enterprise-grade data platforms in an onsite environment.

Mandatory Skills & Experience (Must Have)

Strong P&C Insurance domain experience (MANDATORY)

Hands-on experience with Policy, Claims, Underwriting, Billing data

Extensive experience with SQL Server (data modeling, performance tuning, complex queries)
Hands-on expertise in Azure Databricks
Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for ETL/ELT pipelines
Experience with Azure Data Fabric / Microsoft Fabric
Solid understanding of data architecture, data warehousing, and lakehouse patterns
Experience designing enterprise-scale data solutions on Azure

Responsibilities

Architect and lead end-to-end data platform solutions for P&C insurance systems
Design data models aligned with insurance business processes
Build and optimize data pipelines using ADF and Databricks
Define data standards, governance, and best practices
Work closely with business stakeholders, analytics, and engineering teams
Ensure data quality, performance, security, and scalability
