Role Summary

We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong experience in SQL Server, Python, and Business Analysis (BA) to support data analysis, reporting, and insights for Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance business.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Claims or Underwriting systems (Claim Center or Underwriting) and a solid understanding of end-to-end P&C insurance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets from P&C insurance systems to support business decision-making.
• Write complex SQL Server queries for data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and analysis.
• Perform data analysis and data profiling to identify trends, anomalies, and data quality issues.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional and data requirements.
• Support claims or underwriting analytics, including KPIs, loss analysis, and performance metrics.
• Develop ad-hoc and recurring analytical reports using SQL and Python.
• Assist with data mapping, data validation, and UAT support.
• Collaborate with data engineers and BI teams to improve data models and reporting structures.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with business rules.
