We have 3-5 immediate needs for Senior Java Developer/Architects with our client located in Overland Park, KS on a full time/permanent basis due to growth.
Our client is a successful and rapidly growing software developer of enterprise management solutions. Excellent benefits, bonus/incentive structure with a growing and stable company that provides advancement opportunities.
Responsible for collaborating on the development of requirements, writing technical specifications, designing, coding, and working with a team on testing and deployment. This is a key, hands-on software development position that will work closely with other members of the team to develop new features and functions. Qualified candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a desire to work on team oriented, cutting edge, and customer-focused technical project. Key skills include Spring, J2EE, RESTful Services, JQuery, Javascript, Postgres, Maven, Jenkins, and JMS.
Required Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field or applicable work experience.
• 7+ years of software development experience, the majority of it working on enterprise-scale Java/J2EE applications.
• Extremely strong core Java coding skills, including an understanding of optimization, performance ramifications of coding decisions, and object-oriented design.
• Experience with and working knowledge of: Linux, Hibernate/JPA, SQL, JUnit, DBUnit, Ant/Maven, JAXB, XML/XSLT, web services, log4j. Additionally, the following skills are preferred: Spring, Struts, Velocity, AJAX, JSP/Servlet.
