Dear Friends, The House of Representatives is expected to vote tonight on an additional $34 billion for the wars. Call your U.S. representative TODAY and tell him or her to vote NO on the war funding and send a clear signal that we want this war to end. You can get complete contact information in our congressional directory. Rep. Jim McGovern, David Obey and Barbara Lee have proposed amendments to the supplemental funding bill that would help lead us toward a change in policy even if the supplemental bill is approved.
Wage peace, |
