A bit far fetched. Stem cell research is progressing, but there are moral-ethics issues yet to be sorted out before regulatory permissions are granted. Incidentally, a Reliance privately owned facility - Reliance Life Sciences - located in Mumbai, is doing cutting edge research in this bio-technology. It is one of the few facilities approved by the US FDA.
