CodeVita

In our pursuit to bring out the best from students and institutes across India, TCS Talent Acquisition Team (TAG) in association with Performance Engineering Research Centre (PERC) is introducing CodeVita – the TCS Coding Contest in TCS accredited institutes in India.


India has almost zero presence in prestigious collegiate programming competitions like IEEE Xtreme or ACM ICPC. No Indian team has ever won global programming competitions. TCS strongly feels that India has what it takes to produce programming champions that can win such international events. TCS intends to promote programming as a sport and build a culture in Indian colleges around computer programming. The main objective for the contest is to sharpen the contestants' programming skills through some real-life computing practices.

The contest will also help TCS

1. Spot the bright students
2. Provide students an opportunity to showcase their programming talent and earn peer recognition and honour
3. Provide an opportunity to showcase offerings of TCS to the academic world

CodeVita is open for all students from 1st  year onwards till Final year. We will be glad if you could help us reach out to  students groups in IIT,Madras.

Contest practice rounds starts from 29th July onwards to 11th August

To access Campus Commune from Colleges, the following system specifications have to be made



Kindly find the contest details, registration process that can be shared with all  the students

All the students should have a CT number to register for the contest, the process for  creating the same is as follows

1. Go to http://www.careers.tcs.com/CareersDesign/Jsps/CareersHome.jsp
2. Click "Entry Level Freshers"
3. Click "New Candidate" register here
4. Click "off Campus Applicants"
5. Candidates have to fill  the registration form
6. A system generated "CT number" gets generated, candidates should note that & Click "Continue"
7. Candidates should key in the password given at the time of registration ( i.e during point -5)
8. Click"Campus Commune"
9. Launch Campus Commune
10. Contest banner will appear they can go through the contest guideline & start registering

To Log Off & Login into Campus Commune anytime, the steps are as follows

1. Go to https://nextstep.tcs.com/campus/
2. Key in CT number & Password
3. Click "Campus Commune"
4. Launch Campus Commune"
