Dear Sir/Madam,

 

NPTEL is offering two new online certification courses - namely "Introduction to Programming in C" and "Basic Electrical Circuits", starting September 1st 2014. 

 

Registration for the courses begins on Aug 15th 2014. The courses span 8-10 weeks and there will be an optional certification exam at the end of it, which will be held in November end and December mid-2014. The link for registration is "http://onlinecourses.nptel.ac.in".

There is no cost for registering for the course and following the lessons. The optional proctored certification exam at the end of the course will require you to pay a nominal exam fee. Certificate will be awarded to those candidates, who complete assignments during the course and the proctored examination successfully.

 

The "Introduction to Programming in C" course is being done by Prof. Satyadev of IIT Kanpur while the "Basic Electrical Circuits" course is being done by Prof. Nagendra of IIT Madras.

 

We request you to kindly publicize this information amongst the students and faculty of your college.

 

We are attaching the brochures for the 2 courses which may be printed and put up on your notice boards.
