KCGAC Update

Good morning all:

I hope everyone has had a great holiday and is as excited as I am for the winter weather to clear off so we can get back on the pitch.

 

We're getting close to our prime time to get things going, with the parades, opening day, and other events.

 

 

Here's our schedule as it stands for now:

 

-February 22 - Board Meeting at 1:00pm at Sulley's Pub (5436 Johnson Dr, Mission, KS 66205)

-March 17 - St. Pats Day - Parades!  More to follow from Robert on the times, locations, etc.

 

-March 21 - OPENING DAY - We want to see everyone out on the pitch! (St. Margaret's Park, 799 Homer Aveune, Kansas City, KS 66101)

 

-April 1 - Last day to pay dues without late penalty

 

-June 6 - KCGAC Football Tournament (Location and format TBD)

 

-September 4-6 - Kansas City Irish Festival (Crown Center, Kansas City, MO)

 

 

Dues this year will be $60.00 if paid before April 1st, after that date, they will increase to $70.00.  Dues are incredibly important.  They allow us to pay for our registration to GAA, insurance, field upkeep, tournament expenses, and other costs that arise.  Without money in the coffers, the club will not be able to keep up our activities going forward.

 

We have some other activities in the works with more to follow as we get some details finalized.
