Hello KC Cricket teams, as you might have heard, in order to  formalize the cricket leagues and to promote cricket locally and to represent our cricket playing community officially, we are in the process of registering a non profit organization called 'CPL-KC Cricket Premier League'. This is a result of bunch of us volunteering to take a giant step forward to promote cricket in Kansas City. As you might know, some of our volunteers worked very hard to get a dedicated cricket ground that we started enjoying from last year. A dedicated ground has been a monumental task that took more than a decade of hard work by some of the volunteers. The countless number of hours they spent to make it happen needs to be followed through and maintained by an official body. So, together, with a formal league, we can make lot of things happen towards the betterment of cricket in and around Kansas City.

We would like to meet & brief you all about the league and upcoming tournaments that would be  conducted by this league. This meeting is to explain our vision, exchange ideas, and explain the formal process to add teams to league, tournament timelines, how we all can serve the league etc., will be discussed.

The meeting will be at OCG (Olathe Cricket Ground), this Sunday, Apr 5th, 4.30PM. Please RSVP with your team name so we know who all are coming.
