Dear Family Group,
I was thinking of writing in a clever quote, but as usually my brain froze when I started to think....(joke). Ok, so bad joke.
But anywho, Family group well be held on Friday at 7:30pm (19:30hrs for you military types). If you wish to help out with food please contact Tim and Rebecca. We may not need help with cooking but we always need drinks, cups, paper plates, and utensils, if you catch my drift, so be helpful. As usual I have both the addresses below as well as contact info and some other links which it is ENCOURAGED FOR YOU TOO LOOK AT!!!!
As for the topic, we will be covering chapter 2 in "Nehemiah Leadership." The title of the chapter is Prayer, it sets up to be quite interesting. And as a bonus, BELOW IS WHERE THE LINK IS TO THE BOOK! Yes thats right you can download the entire book for your viewing pleasure. That said, PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN COPY TO FAMILY GROUP!!! AND BRING YOUR BIBLES!!! Notice caps lock its there for a reason. I know for most of you this is last minute, so all I ask is that you come to family group prepare, print it out or download it to your phone bring a laptop, whatever you decide just come prepared, please. :)
WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO READ THE CHAPTER BEFORE COMING TO FAMILY GROUP. Heck don't stop there read the entire book, it will be most beneficial for family group. We say this not for the sake of family group, or for us as leaders, we say this for you. Its a chance for you to spend sometime with God, in QT, in prayer, in everyday living. Just remember that all we are trying to do is to learn about God, build a relationship with God, and to live a life pleasing to God.
Before we send off here are some general rules for when you come to family group. Please respect other peoples comments and opinions. Keep an open heart and mind. Know that we are not enemies but brothers and sisters in Christ. And lastly enjoy each others company in fellowship as we learn more about our God the Father. Well have a Goodnight our Beloved Family Group.
