The Kansas City Chinese Association (KCCA) announces that we will premiere the original New Year Performance Film "Nian" (New Year) on Friday, January 28 7:30pm.

A sequel of last year’s movie Home, this production has gone through four seasons and took a whole year to make. The production team traveled around Kansas landmarks, prairies and plains for the beautiful scenes. We are bringing you the original sound track and beautiful performances. Nearly one hundred people participated in the production, including professional actors who made their debut, as well as familiar neighbors and friends in the community. A story about you, about us, and a production created entirely by our community.
