i am a newbie to bsd. so i still cannot make my machine useful at all!
(except for compile c code and other txt stuff) (no Xor knoledge of
package install -no from bsd cd- ) anyway, i.ll try to stick with bsd
again & not use ubuntu(sorry for saying ubuntu =])

Welcome to the list. What BSD(s) are you using by chance? Nothing
wrong with saying Ubuntu, just don't let it happen again. HAHA
