Viterbo University (in La Crosse, Wisconsin) is searching for a multi-faceted theatre event technician adept at sound engineering and audiovisuals with strong organizational and people skills to join our event staff of the Fine Arts Center (FAC). This full-time, salaried position will find you working on a range of projects including live shows and events produced on campus and a variety of touring productions presented in the FAC, across campus, and at the Weber Center for the Performing Arts in downtown La Crosse. Responsibilities include FOH mix engineering, monitor engineering, setting up and maintaining audio and video equipment, enhancing audio with appropriate sound effects, fixing sound-related issues, working with producers, singers, musicians, performers, and speakers, and completing projects to specifications. You will provide creative input and follow plans and instructions from others, including occasional guest sound designers.
