The Hope College Department of Theatre invites applications for a tenure track position as Assistant Professor of Theatre beginning in Fall 2023. The Theatre Department seeks an experienced teacher/artist to teach performance courses and direct productions in a vibrant program that embraces “Art that makes a difference”. This tenure-track position will potentially teach several levels of acting, directing, musical theatre, and/or theatre history in a NAST accredited B.A. theatre program as well as introductory courses in the college’s General Education program. Terminal degree required with desired experience in college-level teaching, and directing experience in academic and professional theatre. Review of applications will begin on March 1, 2023 and will continue until the position is filled. Completed applications received by this date will receive full consideration. Salary: competitive. Starting date: August 15, 2023.
