Design Tech Registration Reminder

Hi Region 3,

Just a quick reminder that all registrations for Design and Tech events are due this coming Monday, Nov. 16 by 5 pm.

Remind your students to register if they want to take part in any of these events:

National Eligible

Barbizon Awards for Scenery, Lighting or Costume Design
Alcone Award for Makeup Design
KCACTF Award for Sound Design
National Stage Management Competition

The production does not have to have opened yet, or have had a respondent. In our region, all student designs are automatically nominated to participate. Its also OK if you added your designer AFTER you originally entered your production. Just have them complete a Design/Tech registration, and they can participate.

*The $25 entry fee...have your school include the payment when they pay for the FESTIVAL registration (which has not gone live yet), or have the student pay onsite with check or cash.

Monday is also the deadline for the FACULTY EXPO, which is free to enter this year!


Statistic of the Day:
Of the Design & Tech registrations we’ve received as of this morning, 54% come from Michigan (!!), 15% from Wisconsin, 13% from Indiana, then we have 9% from both Illinois and Ohio.

Come on, Illinois! Get those designers, technicians and stage managers registered!
