Sir Knights of the First District of Texas, this Saturday, June 6, 2026, we celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Orders at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart (see attached Flyer). Four deacons will enter into the Holy Priesthood. Deacons James Schnitzier, Joshua Svajda, Mitchell Schumann, Thomas Vu. On Sunday, June 7, 2026, Father Mitchell Schumann will celebrate his first Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Ignatius of Loyola, see the mailing below. Those available please join us a St. Ignatius Loyoa for this very special day in the life of the church and in the life of Father Schumann. 

On Saturday, we will assemble at the Cathedral Centre across from the church. We will form up and process to the church 9:25am. Please remember the ordination will be heavy attended so get there early to get parking space.
