Portuguese Mass

Sir Knights of the First District just received this request this morning. Working with our Brother Sir Knights of Assembly 1094, the archdiocese diocese is hosting a special mass in conjunction with the FIFA World Cup Games, see the note below. If you do not have plans for Father's Day, consider being part of the Honor Guard for the mass.

In between the two Portugal FIFA World Cup games in Houston, the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart is set to host a Mass in Portuguese at 3:30 p.m. on June 21 at 1111 St. Joseph Pkwy. in downtown Houston. All World Cup fans, especially Portuguese-speaking visitors, are welcome to attend this special Mass. Organizers said the Mass is part of broader efforts to welcome international visitors during the tournament. A parking map and more information are available at archgh.org/worldcup. (ARCHGH.ORG)
