The Kansas Bureau of Investigation and Federal Bureau of Investigations

State of Kansas.
Over 30 letters have been reported across the state on Friday, according
to the KBI.
One of the letters was delivered to Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach.
Carrie Rahlfeldt, the communications director for the Kansas Speaker of
the House, said several members of the Republican caucus received the
powder.
Kansas Sen. Molly Baumgardner (R-KS), who represents southern Johnson
County and Miami County, said she received a letter.
A Sedgwick County, Kan., area representative provided a photo to KMBC:
The letter had a June 14, 2023 postdate.
It's unknown at this time if any Democratic officials received them.
No injuries have been reported.
Other agencies involved in the investigation include the Kansas Department
of Health and Environment, Office of the State Fire Marshal and local
police and fire departments.
