upcoming dates

Greetings!
You'll be happy to know that the Summer issue of the Studio newsletter
is coming out this week. In it, Deb and I have dates for the Shawl
Ministry to meet. There is NO CHARGE to come and meet with this group
at the Studio!

Dates and times:
Sun. 7/1, 8/5, 1:30-3pm
Thu. 6/14, 7/12, 8/9, 9/13, 6-7:30 pm

Deb is hosting the first one on Thursday, 6/14, but after that, I'm
your Thursday evening host and Deb is your Sunday afternoon host.

I'm planning on posting some files to this group later on this week
that include:
*additional shawl pattern resources
*information regarding yarn at the Studio for shawls -- including
yardage and pricing

I'm currently finishing up a prayer shawl for a dear aunt. She's in
hospice care and I hope to get it to her this week. I'm using
Andrea's beautiful superwash merino yarn dyed in the "Little Sister"
colorway. More about this shawl at

By the way, there are photos of Deb and me in the files section of the
Google group site for the KC Shawl Ministry. I'm holding this shawl
in the photo.

I'm hoping to put together a Google calendar for this group as well so

Deb and I are looking forward to seeing you all again!

Laura,

Thanks for keeping us up to date. I won't be able to make the Sunday or
Thursday time set. The PSM at my church meets at the same time on the same
Sunday and I have another commitment on Thursdays. I will be knitting
prayer shawls though.

I am looking forward to the yarn options offered at the Studio. I have a
$100 donation to my Church's PSM that is burning a hole in my pocket.

Laura,

I'm still knitting my pray shawls, they are going out as fast as I can
finish them (I've just started #4 and it's spoken for). Sorry I haven't
made any more meetings but hopefully things will settle down a bit and I
will become a more regular attendee. What is scheduled after the 13 of
this month? (I have book club this Thursday).
