For our Annual Membership Meeting we will be discussing genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in our food supply.
We will have a panel discussion on the issues of growing, processing, and procuring local, non-GMO feedstock for our local egg, meat and dairy producers.
We want you to join the discussion; we want to hear from our producer members, our eater members and the general public.
Please join us to learn more about GMOs and to learn more about the KC Food Circle.
All are welcome!

GMOs - What's The Big Deal?
What concerns you the most about GMOs in our food supply? Is it the lack of independent long-term testing, the close association with and increased use of RoundUp and other poisonous pesticides, the billion$ $pent on suppression of food labeling campaigns (among other acts of global political corruption), or is it all about the long-term negative economic effects on smaller farms and organic growers?
Well, the KC Food Circle cannot address all these of these collateral issues head-on, but we can continue to promote higher standards for others to follow. At our annual meeting in December, we will concentrate on the problem of growing, processing and procuring local NON-GMO feedstock for our local egg, meat and dairy producers. Please join the discussion, in correspondence (email or postal mail) or in person at our annual meeting:
