Get Involved VOLUNTEERS NEEDED NOW! Free T-Shirt! Free Tickets! Cultivate Kansas City needs volunteers for our 4th biennial Urban Farms & Garden Tour on June 25-26! Volunteers will receive a free T-shirt AND TWO FREE TICKETS to this year’s event! Volunteer shifts are only 3 hours and a variety of opportunities are available. You can collect tickets, greet visitors, or lead your own tours, then spend the rest of the day touring other farm sites with your friends and family. We also need help with these pre-tour events! We have packed the days from June 15th to the 24th with exciting and educational workshops, films, local food events, and children’s activities. Help us raise awareness by selling tickets, handing out flyers or setting-up (and eating from) buffet lines. These events are all impossible without great VOLUNTEERS LIKE YOU! We are showcasing 38 different sites in the KC metro! Each farm site will have its own unique activities, including live music, cooking demonstrations, food vendors, good people AND MORE. The tour includes city farms, roof-top gardens, school gardens, and community gardens, along with orchards, aquaponics, high tunnels and so much more!
