Want better facilities like bike lanes and bridge access? One great
way to do that is to help gather better data on current levels of
bicycle and pedestrian traffic in Kansas City. It helps justify
requests for new facilities and is something the city is finally
starting to do after many requests by advocates.
So, if you can spare a few hours of your time there is a training
session Wednesday evening and counting occurs Thursday evening or
Saturday afternoon. This is one of those times when your actions can
have a direct impact on making Kansas City more bicycle friendly.
