[KC-Bike-Commuters] Bike Week and Car Free Challenge

Bike Week and the Car Free Challenge return for another installment
this Saturday. Please sign up for the Challenge and get your co-
workers and social networks involved. This year we have a giving away
a free bike and other great prizes.

In addition to the prizes and fame, your participation helps advocates
make the case for better bike facilities. For example, KCK/Wyandotte
County used Car Free Challenge data to help win grants to put bike
lanes on Merriam Drive and Southwest Boulevard, one of the prime bike
commuter corridors between KCK, Johnson County, and Downtown KCMO.

Even if you already go car free year round, participating in the
Challenge for one week is a great way to help make KC more bike-
