Cheryl Jaggers Celebrations of Life - Tonight and Sunday

[KBSBlues Email]

There are two events celebrating the amazing life of Cheryl Jaggers, who passed away unexpectedly on August 10th at the age of 76. Cheryl was a valued member of our local music community. She was a former board member for the Kentuckiana Blues Society and organized several benefits for people and causes in need. Her Hippie Reunions at Stevie Ray's Blues Bar were legendary.

Tonight, August 24 at the Mellwood Tavern starting at 6:00 pm

Music starts at 6:00 by the Revelators, one of Cheryl's favorite local bands. Any musicians who would like to join are welcome to sit in during the show. At 7:00 we will take a few minutes to reflect on Cheryl's life and legacy. Mellwood Tavern will cater the event and there will be a cash bar. As many of you know, Cheryl was active in MERF (Musician's Emergency Resource Foundation) and we encourage donations in her memory.
