Noted Gandhian, environmentalists, educationist, retired Professor in Economics, Padma Shri Radhamohan passed away on 10th June 2021 at Bhubaneswar. He was first and former State Information Commissioner of Odisha and was recognized with the civilian award for efforts to transform a barren land into a lush green forest in Nayagarh, Odisha. Each of us not only grieve but also remember him as a stalwart, a tallest leader, friend of farmers, committed to environmental justice, a mentor to many social activists and an adviser to number of civil society organisations and the government, he was instrumental in formulating pro-people and pro-environment policies. He was a passionate with compassion and committed to the cause of justice to the people and environment. It is a great loss to many - the farmers, civil society and academia. In remembrance of Late Padma Shri Prof. Radhamohan a condolence virtual meeting of tribute and homage is organized from 5.30 PM to 8 PM on 13 June 2021.
