I tested night 5, and immediately starting looking on the monitor. You see the three animatronics, after a few seconds the view gets disturbed, and when you can look again, one is missing. This happens to all of them eventually.
I just did this on night five, and it was very strange! Nothing happened for the longest time, and then I started to hear a sort of moaning/cooing sound, quite high pitched, and it almost sounded like it was saying "hello" or "I'm here." It didn't matter what camera I was on, I kept hearing this. Then all of a sudden Chica pulled me away from the monitor and killed me. I don't know whether this is just with hind sight, but the sounds I was hearing did sound a bit like a chicken, so it made sense.
Both Chika and Bonnie when at your doorway will make a moaning sound so you know they are there and once they are there there is nothing you can do except just pull the monoter down to restart or try to make it to 6AM while staying in cams
When you run out of power, Freddy will sing the Toreador March through his music box and will soon after kill you. Running out of power can be because you use the monitor for too long, close both doors, etc. If you remain on cameras the whole night, then there is a chance that Bonnie or Chica will stop by your door. A problem here is, if either notice you in the office, they will create a low-pitched moan that can sometimes be easily heard, but can only be heard if you stay on the cameras. If you hear this while on cameras, expect a jumpscare that will be delivered in the shape of a rabbit or chicken. Another thing that can happen, if you keep your eyes only on the cameras, is Foxy will run down the hallway and you can't close the door from the monitor. And thus, Foxy kills you with haste.
Freddy Fazbear appears in a multitude of Five nights at freddy's games. He appears in FNAF 1, 2, 3 and 4. He also has appeared in Ultimate Custom Night, FNAF World and many other FNAF games, (Note: Freddy Fazbear Is Not Golden Freddy)
From the 3rd Night onward, he will become active. Usually when he begins to move, a deep laugh is heard instead of footsteps. Freddy only moves when the cameras are down, so he will not move while the camera is up even if the player is not looking at him on the cameras.
Freddy can only enter the Office via the East Hall. He also appears to teleport and laughs when he moves. However, he doesn't always laugh when he moves, meaning that the player has to constantly search for him to ensure he isn't right next to the Office. Despite not always laughing, what sounds like an audio clip will play when he moves.
The most efficient way to stop Freddy from sneaking in is to frequently watch the cameras to stall his movements. If Freddy can be seen on CAM 4B, always close the door while looking at him, as he may move inside the player's room otherwise. Freddy may sometimes move inside the room if the player looks away from CAM 4B to view another camera if he is there. Since Freddy does not appear in the blind spot, his position in the East Hall corner indicates that he is just one step away from entering the Office and killing the player.
When the power goes out, Freddy's enlightened face will flicker. The room will then completely go dark, the player must then wait for Freddy to jumpscare and kill them or, if they're lucky, to get to 6 AM.
Locations: Freddy starts the night on the Show Stage, along with his band members: Bonnie, Chica and Foxy. Upon activation, he will follow a set path from the Show Stage to the Security Office. The path he follows: Show Stage to Dining Area to Restrooms to Kitchen to East Hall to East Hall Corner to the Office.
Freddy has been decommissioned like the other animatronics and his appearance has seemed to be slightly changed. He has more buttons added to his chest and more visible stitching on the underside of his arms. His body segment is also smaller and his hat is removable. He now has an upper set of teeth, his head is slightly blockier, his freckles are gone, his eyebrows are thinner and his upper lips have a deeper gap in the center. The eyes also seem to go deeper in his mask.
Freddy is most likely with the other old animatronics when the game starts in the Parts/Service Room. Freddy will make his way to the office starting to move from Main Hall, to the Party Room 3, and then the Hallway in front of your office, and finally, your office. To get rid of him, the player must quickly put on the Freddy Mask. If they put on the Freddy Mask at least two seconds after Freddy is in the office, they will get killed by Freddy.
They first appear as a game mechanic in The Return to Freddy's Classic, where flipping up the Monitor allows full access to video camera footage within Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, excluding the Kitchen, which is audio only. This lets the player keep track of the animatronics, however, using the Monitor at all consumes power and speeds the animatronics up, making it detrimental to the player's survival. It is recommended to not use the Cameras on later nights.
In The Return to Freddy's 2, they are much more useful than in the first game. They no longer consume power or speed the animatronics up, and instead allow the player to wind up the Music Box and the Generator, as well as make an Audio Signal in Party Room 1. Unlike in the first game, it is necessary to use them from Night 1.
In The Return to Freddy's 3, they remain very important to the player, as they allow the player to seal 4 different doors, those being in CAM 01, CAM 02, CAM 05, and CAM 11, these being the only defense against Lockjaw, Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, and Kitty FazCat. Aside from that, they are one of the 2 mechanics that allow you to track the animatronics, the other one being View Animatronic.
The cameras make their 4th appearance in The Return to Freddy's 4. However, they serve no purpose other than to simply view the animatronics. It is possible to beat a night, and by extension, the whole game, without using them. Unlike in any of the previous games, here the Monitor cannot be flipped up and down, and rather is built into the wall on the player's left.
For the first night, the threat is very small. Only Bonnie will be a decent threat, Chica generally won't get to the office in time, and Golden Freddy can still appear (but this is very rare and can only happen by looking at the west hall camera when a poster of his face is on the wall). On this night, Foxy is incredibly unlikely to come out of Pirate's Cove unless you don't check the cameras AT ALL. Freddy will not come off the stage on this night or the second night, so Freddy is not a threat unless you run out of power.
Bonnie and Chica can check on easily through the left and right door lights, leaving around a few seconds between each check. If you spot either one at their respective doors (Bonnie on the left, Chica on the right) you should IMMEDIATELY close the appropriate door. If they're at the door for a few seconds before you close it, both the lights and door buttons will not work. If this happens, then do not bring up the security feed through the monitor: if you do that, then they will kill you once you lower it. Bonnie and Chica are also known to force the monitor down from the screen as well. If Golden Freddy is summoned, then you should immediately bring up the monitor to de-spawn him. Once an animatronic appears and you have closed the door in front of them, then check the door lights before opening the door back up. If Bonnie is behind the left door, then Bonnie's shadow will block the normal path of the light. Once this shadow is gone, then Bonnie will be gone too. If Chica is behind the right door, then turning on the light will display a wide-eyed Chica, gazing in on you. Chica will be gone if you turn on the light and she is no longer there.
To be noted, Golden Freddy is an unreliable and unpredictable character. He may appear at random and when he does it is recommended to open up the security camera. The other way to summon him is to look at the poster on the wall. It will go from a normal picture of Freddy to a distorted Freddy to Golden Freddy. It is believed that he hides in the kitchen, thus the rasping noise.
- Wait in the beginning of the game! The characters will not pursue you for some time. Rather than checking the camera feed immediately, it is best to just relax for a moment. This will conserve power for later on when it is actually necessary. It is good to wait until the 'end call' option pops up at the top left of the screen. Then, access the camera feed and watch out for those characters! However, be careful. Depending on how long you wait and what night you are on, Foxy may be able run to you and kill you before you drop down to 90% power.
- Stay calm! The more afraid you are, the worse you will do. If you are constantly scared, you will not think as rationally and may use more power than necessary. If you want to make the game less scary, it is best to play with the lights in your room on, the volume set to low and to imagine that they are going to hug you instead of killing you.
- Know your enemies! Go to the other pages on this wiki to learn more about each character and how to deal with them. Bonnie is fast and aggressive, but easy to detect and stop. Bonnie only comes to you from your left side. Chica is slower than Bonnie and less aggressive. Chica is easy to detect and stop and only comes to you from your right side. Foxy is extremely fast and extremely aggressive when he leaves his post (the Pirate's Cove). He only comes to you from your left side. The less you look at the camera, the faster Foxy leaves his post. When you see that he is gone, immediately close your left door. Freddy is extremely aggressive, but slow. He takes his time to get to you, as he doesn't like to be seen. He can be heard when he is in the kitchen, as the music you hear when your power runs out plays when he is in the area. He mostly comes to your right side. These are the basics for each character. Check the actual character pages to learn more.
