Wewarmly welcome you to Christ Church Boys' school; one of the leading school of the southern province located in a fascinating village called baddegama beside the picturesque Gin river. The school was founded in 1821 by Robert Mayor as a missionary school and now it is a National Buddhist school belongs to the government. The school has already spread its fame all over the world and is currently celebrating its 200th birthday with dignity. It is a school which has shown many colours in the fields of education, sports and many other fields and many professors doctors, engineers, authors and scientists have started their basic studies from this genius school.

It is a privilege for me to add a note as the principal of this school because I had been spending my school life in shade of the principals Mr. S. Illeperuma and Mr. Dhanapala Pathirana. First of all, I would like to wish the official website of the school which has a history of 200 years.
