SHIFA - Stakeholder & Operational expenses status due by April 28th

Dear All,

Assalammu Alaikkum WRWB. Here is the commitment towards operational expenses by Stakeholders. We are running short of 70000 (19000 towards Fixed & 51000 towards Variable). Even though we are yet to hear back from three associations THAKWA, RAKWA & KHUFC, am not sure how it is easy for them to cover it up. So I would request our stakeholders (esp Major KWA's) to be generous towards these expenses esp. Fixed (Rs 19000) which is one time expense.

Whoever (KWA's) not yet confirmed their participation in SHIFA & their SHIFA's executive member, please do so by April 28th.

Assalammu Alaikkum WRWB. I'm sorry going way over our second meeting and some inconvenience caused to others due to internet connectivity issues. Please find attached meeting minutes and feel free to reach me out if I've missed or misstated anything. 

Our goal is to kick off SHIFA in May(Insa Allah) since many of KWA's team members & leadership team will be in kayal.  So timelines below will be little aggressive. Please let me know if you've any concerns on that.

Our 3rd & final meeting will be on April 26th (Fri) which will be with executive team. So I would like to thank all our Ad hoc team members for their wonderful cooperation. I'm pretty sure we wouldn't reach at this stage because of this wonderful team effort.

Ths is what I wanted to cover in the rest of the meeting. We can discuss it in detail in our 3rd/final meeting.     

A   Application Approver's Team comprises of 3 people from Doctors Team (KWA's only) and 2 people from Executive Team. This team can be rotational for every 6 months so that everybody will have opportunity.  Initially one person from MicroKayal to be in team is preferable as they have prior knowledge on funds available as well as amount, which can be raised for similar applications.

This team meet every fortnight thru mails or phone or skype  and choose applications and decide on fund.

2.     Medical Fund contribution by Stakeholders : Easy & best way to speed up in medical request is, Every KWA needs to agree on certain fund quarterly to SHIFA (based on their last year’s medical help or amt which they would like to allot for the particular quarter based on their financial status) so that it is easier for executive team and medical team to allocate to applications. Remaining amount can be collected through Micro Kayal or by using Shifa's zakat fund or any other fund raising medium.

Any additional amount can be given specific to applications on request or as and when required

In many KWAs , executive members personally donate extra amount to needys in addition to kwa sponsored amount. These amounts can also be given based on applications on request.

Assalammu Alaikkum WRWB. Today is the last day (April 28th) to confirm participation into shifa, operational expenses commitment & sharing executive member to SHIFA Adhoc committee. Please do so by EOD today which will help me to create separate group id for SHIFA Executive team and set up meeting for this Friday (May 3rd).

We never had any participation or updates (communication) from KWA - HK since kick off mtg even though they have confirmed their participation in SHIFA. So am not sure what is their current decision (IN or OUT) on this. I spoke to Br. SA Noohu few mins. back to follow up with their Team.

We've agreed upon on key things like NO DUPLICATION IN HELPING NEEDY EVERYTHING MUST / ONLY THROUGH SHIFA (i.e the key purpose in setting up SHIFA), DRAFT BY-LAW, SET UP EXEC. TEAM & EMPLOY AO INITIALLY, OPERATIONAL EXPENSES COMMITMENT (i.e. 10 - 15K for small & 25 - 30k for major kwa's) etc to set up SHIFA. 

If we (stakeholders) are not adhering to agreed upon, NON-COMPLIANCE will be passed to executive body to take a decision on this. This is my suggestion & it is up-to Adhoc / executive team. 

Please bear with me on re-emphasizing or being strict on this. It is not only we (kwa's /stakeholders) realized the need of SHIFA but also many (esp social workers) in kayal told me the same after seeing SHIFA advt in notice / internet. So we all have a big hope / confident on success of SHIFA (Insa Allah)
