Hope this mail finds you all in good hale and health.

 

Since, the discussions on forming SHIFA is prolonging so long and to assist all concerned to start SHIFA with

minimum set-up and then after the Fist Executive Committee meeting @ Kayal, all the relevent details may be

elobarately discussed and mututally agreed, I had met with the following people at Kayal and presenting the

brief of our meeting to all concerned.

 

Hope everyone will agree with this proposal and insha allah, to start the SHIFA as guided by this committee.

Minutes of the meeting held between couple of SHIFA Executive members at Kayalpatnam Beach, on 08 May 2013 with regard to outstanding issues in setting up SHIFA.

Participants:

Salai Sheikh Saleem – SHIFA Executive member (KWA Dubai)

Shameemul Islam - SHIFA Ad hoc committee member (KCGC )

Syed Hasan Jaffer - SHIFA Executive member (MicroKayal )

Salai Mohd. Mohideen -SHIFA Ad hoc committee Coordinator

ISSUES & KEY POINTS DISCUSSED:

1. Using Microkayal.comwebsite & MK as Stakeholder in SHIFA. Micro kayal team has analyzed the few things & has made the following decision with regard to SHIFA.

MK has decided to be part of SHIFA as a stakeholder for the first year (as committed already) only. Microkayal.comwill be utilized by MK members & SHIFA stakeholders in the fist year as an online fund raising tool from the start date (i.e. June 1^st) of SHIFA operations.

In the Second year, MK will be out of SHIFA as stakeholder but they will provide technical assistance on need basis. Microkayal will be moving their user data (migration) & its website contents into SHIFA website with a tag “Formerly microkyal.com” . All hits for microkayal will be redirected to SHIFA website.

From third year onwards, Microkayal team will be completely out of SHIFA which means SHIFA will be owned by KWA’s only. SHIFA’s website will be maintained by SHIFA team itself. Microkayal website will be retained by its owners.

2. No Duplication on Medical Application.All SHIFA stakeholders must route the medical applications through SHIFA from its startup. (i.e. June 1^st 2013). Any exception or violations on this will be entertained. Any non-compliance or whoever doesn’t agree with this, will not be eligible to be part of SHIFA or will be losing their SHIFA stakeholder status.

3. SHIFA Office: SHIFA will be utilizing the IQRA office in Keela Nainar street for the first three – six months as a training period for SHIFA operations and it will be a probation period for the SHIFA staffs.

4. SHIFA Start up in Kayal : Insha Allah, the SHIFA operations will be starting effective 01 JUNE 13 and on 11^thAugust 13 (during EID holidays) it will be officially launched in Kayal . All executive members are invited to attend this launching event well in advance so as them to able to plan accordingly.

5. SHIFA Adhoc team : There wont be any SHIFA Ad hoc team or meetings after the final SHIFA Ad hoc meeting held on May 06, 2013. Any meetings after this should be an executive meeting & it will run by its members.

 

Since no others issues are not there to be discussed, the meeting was adjourned.

Thanks for the information sharing..

Regret to note that formation of SHIFA is delaying even after the last EC meeting of SHIFA.

5. SHIFA Adhoc team : There wont be any SHIFA Ad hoc team or meetings after the final SHIFA Ad hoc meeting held on May 06, 2013. Any meetings after this should be an executive meeting & it will run by its members. 

As there is no more Ad hoc team as on date, is there any specific reason, why you sent this mail to adhoc-team. ?! I hope SHIFA EC team should receive this informations and discuss accordingly.

Though MK has its right to decide their part, pls make sure that it'd not affect the smooth formation of SHIFA. That's v.important to all of us.

With the grace of almighty all the issues are short it out.. Insha allah with help of almighty 1st June 2013 SHIFA will start their duties ..

Assalamu Alaikkum...
 
Since the May 6th meeting ended abruptly without any final decision and there is no group email id created for the SHIFA Exec. Committee Members, I had to circulate my mail to adhoc id.
 
Nevertheless, here onwards, we need someone's help now to create an email id in google group including all SHIFA Executive
Committe members.
 
If any of the Shifa Exec. Member can create such a group mail id in google and update us, will be helpful for further communication.
