ot awaySorry guys I can't come to Scotland.   My bike threw me down the road in Wales yesterday then chased me. Fortunately it stopped before it hit me. Consequently i got away with severe bruising but nothing broken. Bike however is a right off.   Have a great time.   Cheers!   Jack

knee tendon. Following op, and week in hospital, now bored at home

Jack, sorry to hear about your 'off'.. just glad your ok apart from
the bruising and of course the expense of getting a new bike. Hope you
get another bike, it'll be good to join you someday on a ride out.

Martyn, sorry to hear about your fall, 6 weeks in a cast eh..? just
hope you have a long stick for that hard to get to itch..!
If I remember rightly, just before my first trip abroad with the group
a few years back you had done something similar, and had just come out
of a cast..?

Hi Sorry to hear about your fall. But if only the legend is hurt you
are ok. I sold my ER and am back on a Jawa 250, after 34 years I am
back where I started. I had a spill myself but it was two horses and a
car stopped on the road as I came around a bend that got me to lay the
bike down. I have decided I am to old for falling off. Thank you to
everyone of you even though I never met you, you made riding the ER a
more rewarding experience. Furnished me with the info I needed to
service the bike and even supplied second hand parts.

Keep the rubber side down.

I've stiffened up a lot since the off.  My whole shoulder girdle has gone into spasm so any movement is now very painful. No breaks though thank heaven.   On lots of pain killers and anti inflammatories so a couple of days should see me managing to mobilize a bit.   As for bike. Well that has to take a back seat to other expenditure for a few months now but I'll get it to the garage to be assessed before the year is out.   Hope you all enjoy Scotland.   For those who haven't done it, believe me the riding is amazing. and Martyn as well and I thought that leg of yours was bionic (or was
it your foot). You have my sympathies too I think I was in the same
boat about 4 years ago.
I must start reading this forum more often. A trip to Scotland seems a
great idea. Off to Wales on the bike tomorrow just for a couple of
days. When I get back I'll see if I can join you guys if only for a
few days ifs that OK as most of my holiday allowance if already
allocated this year.

Hi all, not been on here for a while! Sorry to hear about your off
Jack! hope your ok. And Martin, you div!
Been traveling a bit last year and this, spent 4 months in Macau,
China. Had to get rid of the bike as it was just sitting there rusting!!
Got back form Nigeria last week, what a shite hole, wouldn't like to
ride out there!! Anyway im off to Indonesia tomorrow for 3 weeks, not
with work, but to get married to my Indonesian bride!!! Good luck with
this trip and any others!! hopefully i'll be back biking next year.
