Bike Safe

[Bazza]

Did a bike safe event today - about a 40 minute ride with a police
motorcyclist. For those of you not done any advanced riding like IAM,
really do recommend it, its very informal and they're just there to
help you give a few tips or point any bad habits etc.

Although turning up a 14 raised a few eye brows!

And you never know quite who you'll run into, especially people
wearing funny hats - eh Phil? :-)

Yep...did it myself 5 years ago and it is a great day. It encouraged me to do the IAM course. Highly recommended as well!

Hi Bazza!

Great to see you at Bikesafe Luton! Sorry you did not make it to my slow
riding bit!! I have a GS now so slow riding round cones etc is a piece of
cake! I had a go on a couple of Ninjas after a few go,s!!

I am off to Llandrindod in the morning with 25 others from Herts and Beds! I
will say hello for you!!

Can you let me know what your itinery is for your summer trip. I am happy to
try and hitch up with you for a day at least but I have lost the plot when
and where you are going !

See you soon mate, sign up for HBAM, there is loads going on in Herts and
Beds!! Our Chief Observer lives in Flitwick and most of our training is done
by Met Police Officers from Hendon where Roadcraft was written!! Loads of
socials and ride outs too!!

Sorry Phil, I didn't fancy the cones on the ZZR-14 its a little
unwieldy for that kinda work, even this guy with modified exhausts, no
lower fairing and more importantly, different handlebars fails to keep
it up...so to speak:
