Hi Everyone,
Been very quiet on here but then I am sure there are not too many of
us still riding ER5s??
Well, the baffles have gone on my exhaust and it is starting to sound
a little noisy!
The rest of the exhaust is fine. Does anyone know if it is legal? Is
there a recommended can I can bolt on the back?
Anyone else had this problem? What did you do about it?

No I think the Er-5's are a bit few and far between.
The lack of baffles will probably make it illegal due to the noise -
it certainly won't past its next MOT :-)
From my memory I thought the whole exhaust was one piece? sure Geoff
when next time he's on will be able to sort you out.

Exhaust system is one unit, you can buy complete replacements at a cost, a cheaper option might be to purchase a slip on unit and use the origional front end, if you dont want to cut up your existing system i have a selection of that i have cut of the back box if you need one.

There are 2 or 3 used ER5 exhaust systems on Ebay at the moment.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. MOT is not due until later in the year
so may see how bad it gets.
