Hey all,

I have a hard time running tests in the “KaVE.RS.SolutionanalysisTest” project. When I click “run tests…” the test runner will start, but the icons spin forever and the test is not executed at all, even if I wait for a longer time. This does not happen in any other project nor does it seem to occur on the build server… so I’m wondering, can anybody confirm this problem or is it just my machine?

I already tried to clean all temporary files in this project, incl. NuGet packages, checked out a new local copy of the solution, and even re-installed R# by now. Does anybody have another idea?

Hi,

I didn't run these tests locally for awhile, since I didn't touch the analysis lately... I can try so next Monday, when I'm back in the office.

However, I had some issues running tests every now and then, which mostly vanished when I switched between 32 and 64 bit compilation... Not sure there's an actual correlation though!

Best, Sven

I just created a new user and set up the project from scratch (yes I was *that* desperate)… turns out that the tests run in this new setup, but not with my regular user.

Sorry, but I don’t get it. :/

In the end, I decided that it is less work to simply setup the work environment for a new user instead of fixing such a strange bug.

Still it would be helpful to know what's going on... Helps treating future problems ;)

Agreed. I can give you access to my virtual machine in case you would like to further investigate the problem. ;) I gave up after 2 afternoons.
