Where do all the .orig files come from?

Hey all,

not sure if somebody ist using a special diff tool, but suddenly “.orig" files start to appear all over the project. Please make sure that such files are not committed to the repository!

Btw. I hope nobody manually creates copies… Git offers a version history for exactly this. ;)

Hi,

I'm not a 100% sure whether these files are created by merge tools or got itself. The clean way would be to add *.orig to our .gitignore, though.
