Hey guys,

I just worked with a network again and came across a potential solution for one of your problems.

You told me that you weren't able to write a network to disk without getting an exception. I'm not sure if this is the reason for your specific exception, but Smile is unable to create a file if the enclosing folder doesn't already exist.

Does this precondition hold for your situation (had you tried to write to an existing folder)?

Hi Dennis,

as far as I remember, we tried to write to "c:\”, but I’ll confirm that tomorrow, once I’m back in the office. Thanks for sharing your insight!

Best,
Sven
