Earth Day - Photographic coverage

Good morning All,

Attached is a list of the Earth Day events.

·         We need photographers to cover today's events 2, 3, 4 and 8.

·         Event 6, Mangrove Planting: attached is a map showing the location. Be at the Family Beach at 3:00 pm today . . . and bring your beach shoes and swimming trunks if you want to get really close to the action.

·         Additional volunteers for event 9 on Thursday would be appreciated. It runs from 4:30pm till 9:00 pm

You do not need to sign up for any of the above - just be there!

Terry has offered to send out an email detailing how to upload your photos to his networked storage system.

The "Family Beach" they are talking about in the "Future Family Beach"
North of the Marina on the side of the Island area. It is NOT "The
Beach That Is Now Open"..

Bahir,
as I informed yesterday I'll be there for the event 8 today and for the event 9 tomorrow also I'll be there, but I'd like to know for today the meeting point will be inside building 20 or outside and what the event will be? please clarify to me.

Hi Ahmad,

You did volunteer for event 8 and I overlooked that when preparing the list of events this morning.

You may have missed the KAUST email announcement which was sent out on Monday with the following link Earth Day Agenda.

‘Growing More Food with Less Water’ is a lecture in the Auditorium, Building 20.

The following photos would be good, plus any others you think of:

·         before the lecture starts,  photos of the audience,

·         after the lecture, photos of Dr. John Klingler, the presenter.
