As many of you know, torrential rains left thousands of residents in the Atlanta area under water. Rainfall totals measured up to 20 inches in some places destroying homes and infrastructure.
As subscribers to our E-mail Distribution list, you typically receive updates from me. However, we have recently moved to a new automated volunteer alert system. Below is the e-mail you should have received letting you know about the volunteer needs in the Atlanta area. Samaritan's Purse Disaster Relief Units are on the scene in the Atlanta area, ready to help victims of the recent deadly flooding in the city and surrounding area. Thousands of people have been severely affected as days of nonstop rain created widespread flooding. Over 1,000 homes have been damaged by floodwaters.
