Purpose: To
minister to the people of New Orleans who have been affected by hurricane
Katrina, through giving our manual labor.
Maximum number 24 Men and 6 Women
History: This is our 5th trip to the
region. We have previously gone 2 times
with SP and 2 times with Operation Noah
Depart Monday Feb 22, 2010 (earlier if driving)
Return Saturday Feb 27, 2010 (later if driving)
Lodging: Only available Monday through Friday.
Work Tuesday through Friday (possible ½ day on Saturday)
Expected Work: Based upon the needs at the time, we will be involved in re-building homes that were destroyed and/or new construction for those effected.
The work assignments will be made by Samaritan’s Purse.
Volunteers need to be willing to work wherever assigned,
realizing that they are serving a greater purpose through Samaritan’s Purse.
Method of Travel: Drive or Fly. Last Year, flights listed at $270.00. Each person will book his own flight. Some may desire to drive and share the cost of gas.
Other expenses: Samaritan’s Purse will cover all food and lodging expenses.
Tools: Will be provided by SP. We may bring small tools if we wish.

Meeting Dates: January 17, 31, and Feb 14. All will be in room 21 at 12:35 PM.
